Why We Built This Site
Wisconsin permits broad access to many public records, yet access remains custodian-specific. The Grant County Sheriff keeps its reports and jail material. The Clerk of Circuit Court maintains filed charges, orders, and dispositions through the court system described by CCAP; the court's redaction guidance explains why the public display is not the full file. Wisconsin DOJ provides statewide repository checks, while DOC community corrections supplies a separate supervision view. This site brings the verified contacts and access routes into one reference.

An official record must come from its issuing custodian, such as the Grant County Sheriff, circuit clerk, or Wisconsin DOJ Crime Information Bureau.
